    Nowadays there has been a trend of eating flavored yogurts. But beware of that because it has tons of sugar and flavors inside it. Thus despite that, you have to make sure to eat yogurt.  But greek yogurt and top it off with fruits, berries, nuts, and even cereals.

    Try to be as creative with this as you can. You can also make it more colorful for your kids by turning plain yogurt into frozen yogurt pops and barks.

    Beans

    Beans are one of the humble foods to ever grace the face of the earth. They are rich in protein, and fiber and are cost-effective. In addition to all this, fibers take little to no time to prepare. There are a number of beans that you can choose from. Such as:

    • Black beans
    • Chickpeas
    • Kidney beans 
    • Green beans

    You can buy them from the store, then rinse them and add them to any meal. They can serve as a healthy side dish for your steaks and can be added to salads. You can try to add them to your kinds of pasta so that your child can become more accustomed to eating veggies. Kids are in dire need of fiber and thus beans can be the perfect candidate in this matter.

    Fiber is a needed compound because it helps with digestion and makes you keep the bowel movements intact. This also brings a sense of satiation so that you do not have to worry about feeding your kid after every 5 minutes.

    Eggs

    Eggs are rich in proteins and one of the best sources of iron for your kid. Kids in their early stages of life need a profound level of iron so that their metabolism is intact. In addition to protein, eggs are also loaded with omega -3 fatty acids, vitamin B12, vitamin D, and iron.

    Make sure to feed your kids eggs for breakfast instead of fried foods because this way you are allowing your children to develop a habit of healthy eating. You can also try to make your kid a fan of scrambled eggs or omelets because they are equal parts healthy and delicious.

    Even if your kid is 12 months old, you can also feed them with boiled eggs as it is a great way to add protein into their diet.

    Sweet Potato

    If you are low on time and need a full-fledged and proper meal for your kid then you can try to cook them some sweet potatoes. Start by washing the sweet potato, then poke a hole into it. Microwave it for quite some time. After taking it out from the oven you can slide it onto your child’s plate.

    Sweet potato is loaded with fiber, potassium, and vitamin A. They are also a great way of managing blood pressure and help to keep the heart-healthy as well.

    Milk

    There is no hidden secret that milk is a wondrous food that should be fed to children at all stages of their life. Milk is rich in calcium and boasts a load of vitamin D in the body. Thus it helps with the process of building strong bones.

    It is also rich in phosphorus, vitamin B 12, and potassium. There is just one keen thing to keep in mind and that is you should not be fed your child milk until he is one year of age.

    In case your child is unable to develop a taste for cow milk then you can try some other alternatives as well such as goat milk and soy milk. But try to make your kid drink cow milk because it is just the best.
